ASPIRA Youth for Success (YFS) Mentoring Program
“Once an Aspirante…Always an Aspirante"
“The delicate balance of mentoring someone is not creating them in your own image, but giving them the opportunity to create themselves.” — Steven Spielberg
The program goal is to involve mentors in the lives of vulnerable young people promoting positive behaviors, attitudes, and outcomes for youth. The program seeks to significantly help young people grow as individuals and provide them with the support they need. Moreover, it aims to reduce the incidence of gangs, delinquency, and drop- out rates and increase academic achievement among at-risk middle and high school youth. We will provide mentoring opportunities via one on one and group sessions.
“A mentor is someone who allows you to see the hope inside yourself.” — Oprah Winfrey
